The GP’s purpose-built design is intended to grapple and load just like a forestry grapple, and also process every bit as well as a conventional processing head.
Recently, some conventional head manufacturers have attempted their own version of a grapple processor. Rather than a properly intended design like the GP, they clearly wanted to avoid a major development project, and so they simply tweaked a couple features and called it their own version of a ‘grapple processor’. However, one critical thing they failed to consider is removing frame interference. Their short-cut strategy has exposed a significantly flawed design.
Conversely, the GP’s frame is intentionally designed to eliminate frame interference –allowing for both optimized grappling and optimized processing.
